The technical engineer Mr Mark Pavit.
The technical engineer Mr Mark Pavit we had from ADI dealing with our leak problem was amazing. His knowledge & equipment he used to find the problem was so good. He found the leak in no time & worked so hard to access the leaking pipe which was under the floor screeding. Replaced the pipe re pressurised the system & all is working fine. If you have any issues with under floor heating or leaks I would highly recommend Mr Mark Pavitt. 5 stars ✨ 👍

Leak tracing
Mark Pavitt from ADI was so friendly and helpful. He kept me informed of his ETA and explained every step of the process, always ensuring I fully understood what was happening. He left everything neat and tidy. Leak traced and repaired with little disruption.
★★★★★
Great leak detection company
The engineer, Mark, arrived and very quickly found the leak in the floor of my downstairs toilet. He was extremely professional and took the time to explain the whole process clearly, which really put my mind at ease. He patiently answered all my questions and even spoke to my insurance company on my behalf, which I found incredibly helpful. The leaky pipe was fixed, and Mark left the area clean and tidy. There’s still more work to be done but the main source of the problem is resolved. Thank you, ADI for a very good service,
★★★★★
Outstanding Service
From my initial enquiry, with the lovely Caroline, to the completion of work, by the very thorough and considerate Mark, ADI provided an outstanding service. Mark was friendly, professional and proficient, clearly explaining each step of the process and answering any questions knowledgeably. He found and repaired the leak (which previous plumbers had failed to identify) and was mindful of our home. Would highly recommend as the company, service and professionals are faultless
★★★★★
Friendly, diligent service
Leak investigation by Mark, who turned up cheerfully on a snowy day. Mark was very friendly, and happy to chat through the process. He was diligent, systematically ruling things out while keeping me appraised. As it happens, the problem resolved itself as a result of the diagnostic process itself (not uncommon), but he was thorough in double checking, and letting me know what to keep an eye on. Also gave good open advice around conversations with insurers. Great service all round.
★★★★★
Very impressed
We were in the very capable hands of Mark Pavitt, who was friendly and helpful. He found the source of the leak, which fortunately for us turned out to be the responsibility of the water board.
★★★★★
Great service
We had a very large water bill. ADI sent their engineer, Mark Pavitt around without delay to investigate. He traced our pipes through our home, tracked down our leak and made a repair in a few hours. I recommend them highly

Mains water leak repair…
Having phoned ADI regarding our leak problem, an appointment was quickly made and Mark Pavitt came to carry out a Trace and Access test. The source of the leak was diagnosed and a timely booking arranged for the repair which suited us. Mark Pavitt and his colleague, Krystof, came to carry out the repair which they managed to do in two days instead of the three days which had been allocated. These two people worked so hard and efficiently to repair our leak, that we couldn't thank them enough. Krystof even worked out a new route for the piping so that we didn't have to take up tiles from our newly laid hallway floor, which was amazing. Mark and Krystof are a credit to their Company and we would definitely recommend ADI Leak Solutions to anyone. Thank you - Hassen & Marion Oomar

I will be recommending them to everyone.
Everyone we dealt with throughout the process just seemed so friendly and legitimately caring about our situation. Things did NOT go to plan for us in the beginning, but Gabor came and sorted the leak out with with a very professional, patient, and methodical manner which made us feel very reassured (as well as his colleague Mark). Dave in sales kept our expectations managed and also proceeded to provide support, an ear to whinge into, as well as practical and thoughtful solutions to the problems we faced. They persevered and solved our problems with incredible expertise - I really don't talk about many companies being truly good and helping their clients, but ADI is a company I will keep in mind for the long term whenever anyone I know has a leak issue. Really feeling grateful for their service and although you pay for specialist support, it truly is a case of you get what you pay for and then some!

Fast, effective leak diagnosis and repair
Fundamentally, the engineer (Mark Pavitt) identified the source of the leak, repaired it and had our house back up and running within the same day. As part of achieving this, he kept the damage to a minimum (only having to cut out sections of the kitchen plasterboard ceiling). He cleaned up the debris, was polite, cheerful and informative of root cause and actions throughout the day. I think the key to success is having an engineer that has expertise in both leak detection and plumbing.
★★★★★
Mark was fantastic
Mark was fantastic. Very professional but also very personable. He worked very hard, found our leak and repaired it. Would highly recommend on every level - thank you
★★★★★
Brilliant service
Mark was brilliant, he thoroughly assessed the situation, checked in a very uncomfortable crawl space under the property and actually located the leak (something Southern Water have failed to do 3 times). Bless him, he worked very hard in some extremely challenging weather, but most importantly he found & fixed the issue on the day. We cannot thank him and ADI enough, after three long years we are now able to sell my late mothers property safe in the knowledge there is no more leak.
★★★★★
ADI - highly recommend
Mark and Dan are excellent guys, very friendly and helpful. They have all the kit and provided an excellent service. It was a difficult job that needed a lot of patience but they persevered, found the problem and fixed it.
Mark has been working in plumbing and heating for 30 years, and has spent 14 of those years focused entirely on leak detection. He also has 10 years of experience in water mains replacement, so when a buried supply pipe turns out to need more than just finding, he can deal with that too. Away from work he's a Liverpool fan, fishes when he gets the chance, and sings — though by his own admission, not particularly well.
Mark uses acoustic listening equipment to pick up the sound of escaping water through floors, walls, and ground surfaces without breaking anything open. Thermal imaging cameras reveal wet areas by detecting surface temperature changes, and tracer gas is introduced into pipework to identify breaches where acoustic methods alone are insufficient. Borescope cameras and moisture meters provide additional confirmation in confined or enclosed spaces.
What experience and qualifications does Mark have?
Mark has 30 years in plumbing and heating, 14 years in leak detection, and 10 years in water mains replacement. He holds NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 3 qualifications in plumbing and heating, a health and safety qualification, and is a specialist in plumbing fault diagnostics.
What types of properties does Mark work on?
Mark works on residential properties across a wide range of sizes and ages, from modern homes with underfloor heating systems through to older properties with more complicated buried pipework. His water mains replacement experience means he is equipped for jobs where a supply pipe under a driveway or external ground needs more than detection alone. He handles straightforward bathroom source traces as well as more involved underground investigations.
When should you call Mark for leak detection?
If you have rising water bills without explanation, damp patches appearing on floors, walls, or ceilings, or a central heating system losing pressure repeatedly, those are all signs worth investigating properly. Underground or buried supply pipe leaks, underfloor heating faults, and drain issues that haven't been identified by a standard plumber are also situations where specialist detection equipment makes a significant difference. Call ADI Leak Detection on 0800 731 3843 to book an investigation — ADI will aim to assign Mark where he is available in your area.
How Mark finds your leak
Mark follows a consistent five-stage process on every visit. The approach is non-invasive and designed to isolate the fault before any disruption to your property.
Initial assessment. Review symptoms with the customer, check visible evidence, and identify the most likely system involved.
Selection of the right detection method. Pick the combination of thermal imaging, tracer gas, acoustic listening, or moisture mapping most likely to isolate the fault.
Non-invasive testing. Run the chosen method across the candidate area — no excavation or destructive investigation until the leak is confirmed.
Leak confirmation. Cross-verify the finding with a second method where possible, mark the exact location, and document the evidence.
Reporting and next steps. Provide a written report, photographs, and recommended repair options.
