  • Heights of Abraham. This Victorian country park is situated on 60 acres of land that has a name that reminds of a bygone era. This place is inspired by the Plains of Abraham in Quebec, about the battle in 1759 during the war of 7 years.

    This place comes with a cable car that lifts you to the hilltop park. There you will see stunning views of Dervent Valley from the Victorian Tower. There are also two caves, the Great Rutland and Masson Cavern; both mined to lead since Roman times.
  • Matlock Farm Park. This is a family-friendly park that provides a great day tour with its varied activities. It has a large selection of animals to witness, including goats, llamas, meerkats, peacocks, pigs, ducks, and deer. They also have very nice playgrounds and a go-kart track for children to play. The place also comes with a spot to let adults relax. Furthermore, the Park also has a café that serves hot food to visitors.

  • Matlock Bath Aquarium and Exhibitions. The aquariums and exhibitions are set in an amazing Victorian building. It’s just in the center of Matlock Bath, where famous collections of unique attractions are for families and groups to enjoy. The aquariums are fascinating, and it shelters 50 fish species. They are also known as one of the largest displays of Holograms in Europe. They also offer fish rescues, sales, and re-housing.

  • Peak District Mining Museum. This museum is known as the lead mining heritage of Derbyshire, from the Roman Times up to the present. Their exhibits are interactive, and they have shafts to climb, mock tunnels, and moving models. The museum is suitable for all ages, as they get to learn about the history and more about.
