An Underground Leak Or Leak In Your Heating System Could Be Costing You Thousands
As a national company ADI Leak Detection has a lot of experience in working in counties like Staffordshire and with the broadest spectrum of clients imaginable – from tenants to landlords and commercial property owners. We’ve also seen first hand the emotional, structural and financial devastation that a previously unnoticed leak can cause on property of any size.
Underground or hidden leaks are serious for a huge number of reasons such as:
- A water bill that’s growing every single month for no reason
- Sub-surface soil erosion that can cause subsidence all over your property
- Dampness creates an ideal breeding environment for bugs, flies and all kinds of other insects
- Fungus spores can cause or exacerbate respiratory problems like asthma in the young and the old
- Expensive damage to your floors or walls that can cost a fortune to rectify
Regardless of the type of leak you have the engineers at ADI Leak Detection are ready and able to help trace and fix your leak. We have a wide range of solutions, equipment and advice that we can provide to help you both stop further water leak damage and you’re also assured of only the highest standard of service because we only employ the most experienced and highly trained engineers. As part of our service we also carry out a complete leak survey on your home to detect any potential problems with your heating and plumbing.
Our engineers use four distinctly different methods to locate the exact source of any internal, external or underground leak and all of these methods are non-destructive in nature; we don’t just dig or drill random holes in the hope of finding your leak. We only ever carry out an invasive investigation once we’ve tracked down exactly where the leak is.
Our thermal imaging camera systems can quickly and accurately identify warm and cool areas in your walls or floors, which are a sure sign of a leak of some kind, this is the same type of technology used in military targeting systems on attack helicopters.
Our acoustic leak detectors, similar to ultrasonic devices, can “listen” for the sounds of a leak anywhere up to 3 metres beneath the surface of your property; this eliminates guesswork on our part.
When we’re tracing difficult leaks we can “flood” your heating system with a safe gas that then leaks out through those tiniest of cracks. When the tracing gas leaks out it’s quickly identified by our “gas sniffers” so we know exactly where the leak is coming from.
For leaks causing problems over a wider area our leak correlators can detect the sound of a leak, from multiple locations, and then use complex computer software to calculate the precise point of that leak – even on leaks spread over an area of up to 600 metres.
Our dedication to providing an excellent customer experience and our high level of efficiency means that you get billed for fewer hours and, potentially, save thousands of pounds in “empty” labour costs.
