The Bridgnorth Museum on Northgate, Bridgnorth is an independent museum run and managed by volunteers from Bridgnorth and District Historical Society. It showcases a host of historical artefacts including an Edwardian till to a model Trevithick’s Steam Engine. Bridgnorth Museum is open from Easter to October every year, on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesday afternoons as well as on bank holidays from 1pm until 4pm. Admission to the museum is free.
Severn Valley Railway
Severn Valley Railway is a full-size standard-gauge railway line, running regular, mainly steam-hauled passenger trains between Kidderminster in Worcestershire and Bridgnorth in Hollybush Road, Shropshire. Aside from its regular service, Severn Valley Railway also offers special events such as the Footplate Experience where guests can have the opportunity to drive a train.
