    About Wellingborough

This town is known for its wells that are famous with the early Stuart nobility. Here are some of the famous that are worth visiting when in town.

Wellingborough Museum. The building where the museum lies has witnessed many incarnations already for years. It started in 1892 as a swimming pool. The swimming pool was known as ‘Dulley’s Baths.’ In 1919, the pool was converted into a shoe factory.

Later, it became a museum and welcomed visitors. It’s where you can explore a range of exhibits, and the museum is fun and very interactive. They also welcome visitors to use the seaside arcade machines. Furthermore, there is also a sandpit, and they put green outside for warm seasons.

Irchester Country Park. This country park was formerly an ironstone quarry that comes with a wonderful children’s play area. They have this children’s play area and long and short trail systems. The place is about 83 hectares and has a woodland mix. Visitors can always enjoy lots of amazing activities as they glide through the trees using rope bridges, cargo nets, or zip lines. It’s also very ideal for bringing your family with you, as the place is child-friendly.
The Castle Theatre. Everyone is looking forward to every show in the Castle Theatre. It’s such a great venue, and the play and programs are great. The place is so quiet and has recently undergone refurbishment. It has great facilities, that’s why it should be used more often by the community. Of course, the prices of the tickets were reasonable, and the place was comfortable. Children would also love to be there, as the performances are entertaining.

Nene Court. This is an independent retail park that is located in Wellingborough. It was formerly Wellingborough’s Gas Light Co. However, in the 1990s, Victorian buildings were turned into shops. Today, Nene Court is known for its food outlets, boutiques, and a place to relax and unwind.
