    About Grantham

The town of Grantham is known for its junction on the railway from London to Scotland. The chief industry is mechanical engineering, which is known for producing road rollers and diesel engines. Also, the town of Grantham is where the former British prime minister, Margaret Thatcher, was born.

Belton House. This is a Grade I listed country home in Belton parish that is near Grantham. It was built in 1685 and 1688 and is known as a place with formal gardens and avenues that will lead to follies. It is described as a house that comes with all the finest and amazing Carolean architecture.

It has the authentic vernacular style of architecture that England made. That said, the Belton House is known to many as a great example of a typical English country home.
Woolsthorpe Manor. This is a typical early 17th-century farmhouse built in 1623. The Woolsthorpe is a known stone house that has 2 and 3-light windows and stone copings. It's where Isaac Newton was born on Christmas Day in 1642.

When you get there, you will witness that the entrance door has the crossed bones from the coat of Isaac Newton. Inside the manor, there are original panelled doors, graffitis and fireplaces. It's truly historic and truly impresses tourists.
Harlaxton Manor. Only a few wedding venues worldwide can match the Harlaxton approach. This manor is a straight mile-long drive located at the lakeside bridge, right under the gatehouse to the towering. Inside the Harlaxton Manor feels like a fairytale, and it floats like a vision at the end of the avenue. The location is known for its 300 acres of gardens and woodland.

Easton Walled Gardens. This is a beautiful garden that has been developed since 2001. This is a large home that was demolished in 1951. Today, visitors can see the grounds and describe it as Nirvana. It's too good to be true, but work is still ongoing, and the features make a fascinating trip.
