    About Portsmouth

This is a port city in the county of Hampshire. It is known for having the largest Royal Navy dockyard and is home to some of the surface fleet of the UK. However, other than ships, the city is known for its remarkable places like:

The Mary Rose. It is the home to thousands of objects and Mary Rose. It was established in 1509 and 1511 and was one of the first ships to fire a broadside. It’s also the favorite of King Henry VIII, and after his long career, The Mary Rose sank accidentally while engaging with the French fleet in 1545.

It was Mary Rose’s raising and rediscovery that was unforgettable in history. It took about 34 years for the project to build a museum and fully display the Mary Rose. It became an attraction and wonderful sight, especially when you happen to watch the raising of the ship.
Spinnaker Tower. This is an iconic attraction in Portsmouth that was awarded 2021’s Traveler’s Choice award for attractions. The views are very spectacular even when you’re just riding an elevator. It also has a glass floor that’s quite overwhelming to acrophobic people. There is also the High Tea, which can also be a very nice experience for visitors. Anyone can really have a great time at the tower, and it’s always worth the money spent.

Brittany Ferries. Try sailing with Brittany Ferries going to Spain and France when you’re from Portsmouth. Their routes can always take you closer to the famous holiday destinations and save miles and miles of driving, overnight stops, and the cost of fuel. You may also choose which ferry you’re going to cruise based on your preferences. It’s going to be a trouble-free trip with so many views that you will never forget.
