    About Clacton-on-Sea

    Clacton-on-Sea is the largest town in the Tendrig peninsula and district in Essex, eastern England. Its beach, known as Clacton Beach, is the largest and most beloved seaside destination in Essex, offering plenty of opportunities for sandcastle building and seaside recreation. The town is located between Jaywick and Holland-on-Sea along the coastline and Great Clacton to the north. Clacton-on-Sea is at the south-eastern end of the A133.

    Among the amenities residents and visitors can enjoy at Clacton-on-Sea include a pleasure pier, arcades, a golf course, caravan parks, and an airfield. Clacton-on-Sea also has a shopping area with many of the usual national chains present, and a Factory Shopping Village in the north of the town.

    The Ship

    The Ship is a pub located at 2 Valley Road at Clacton-on-Sea. It serves a great range of classic pub fare and breakfast alongside a selection of drinks. The pub is open from 5:30am until 10pm from Tuesdays to Thursdays; 5:30am until 11pm on Saturday, and 12 to 10pm on Sundays.
