    About Thrapston

This is an industrial town found in Northamptonshire. It was formerly the headquarters of the former East Northamptonshire. It was voted as one of the most popular places to live because of its bustling community and great schools. With that, here are some of the best places to visit in town.

The Thrapston-Islip Walk. Anyone can have a pleasant little walk that ends up going into the Islip. The short walk is going to be peaceful, which is why everyone likes going to this place. There is a road up to the yacht that may be a bit tricky. However, it’s still pleasant and worth it. And during winter, the paths are still clear, and a lot of wildlife can be spotted while enjoying the views of the lakes around.

Thrapston Bridge. This bridge is known for its amazing structure. Though it may be old, it remains pleasing to the eyes of those who pass by, especially visitors. It links the town of Thrapston with Islip, and it has been a beautiful site ever since. It characterizes the areas of history, and it is surrounded by old buildings as well. There are also pubs to have your great drinks and meal, making it a very good place to visit.
Denford War Memorial. This memorial commemorates the residents of the town who lost their lives during the world war. It’s a spot by the river, making it worth taking time to pay respect. Every year, several local veterans would visit the monument to remember those they had lost. In fact, everyone is welcome to visit and pay their respects.

Thrapston Railway Viaduct. It is an amazing viaduct that connects two parts of the River. It used to be a part of the old Kettering to the Cambridge line. The place looks nice, that's why it’s worth visiting.
