    About Swinton

This town is based in the city of Salford. One of its major architectural pieces is the neoclassical Salford Civic Centre. It has a clock tower that is 38 meters high. It is one of the major attractions in the area. There is also Victoria Park which is a great center. In this park, councilmeetingsused to take place before the civicCentre was established. The town hall was officially launched in 1936. However, the various extensions were established in 1974 when it became the headquarters of Salford. There is also the Wardley Hall which is a medieval house. This is where the bishops of the Roman Catholic reside. The area has some great buildings purposely created for residential and commercial purposes. These unique estates and commercial spaces are well-managed. Besides, the area has churches which include the St Mary’s RC base in Park Street, St Peter's Church of England located in Chorley Road, All Saint's Church of England on the same road, and the Holy Rood Church of England based in Moorside Road. There is a lot of leisure areas, great museums to visit, modern hotels for your meals, and good schools for children. Adults can still visit the cozy bars for their evening drinks and night-outs.
