    About Ampthill

This is a lovely small market town that is known for its interesting history. There are lots of places and beautiful views in this town like:

Ampthill Park. This park is known as the site of Ampthill Castle. It has a bit of everything, from stunning views, Henry VIII’s heritage to a diverse collection of flora and fauna. The park is landscaped, and even dogs are welcome. The area is well-provided with bins. That’s why you can just let go of your dog off the lead.

There is also a cafe nearby that serves good coffee. From there, you’ll get to see the stunning views of the neighbouring countryside. You will also see the mature plants and trees that make the park very beautiful.

Ampthill Brewhouse. This Brewhouse was saved in 2015, and today, they brew and supply three pleasant ales for most clubs, pubs, and stores in Ampthill and the surrounding areas.
Visitors would enjoy a great time while in the place, as they provide a very informative presentation of their quality beers. The Brewhouse is a local enterprise that is truly worth supporting. And though it’s a small brewery, there’s more of a talk. Of course, they also give free drinks to visitors.

Arrowdox Archery. This is a rural outdoor company that hosts a number of events in the stunning settings of Oakland Farms, Ampthill. There’s something for everyone who wants to try Archery; from the usual target and field archery to multiplayer Battle Archery, everyone will really have a good time in the place. Their aim is to always create a unique and fun day for you and the company.

Ampthill Micro-Museum. Located just above Ampthill Fireplaces, this micro museum is the first of its kind in the county of Bedfordshire. It tells the past of the historic Georgian town in Ampthill. There are lots of exhibition that shows the history of the town way back to 1089. They also allow visitors to get a hands-on history. It’s very educational and worth visiting.
